Einmal in einem echten Labor stehen, mit Pipetten, Zentrifugen und Vortex arbeiten und dabei auch noch DNA aus einer Banane oder einer Zwiebel extrahieren? H\u00f6rt sich toll an, wenn man ein Nachwuchsforscher ist. Die Nachwuchsforscher:innen des Wahlpflichfachs Forscher:innenwerkstatt durften am offenen Labor an der Karl-Franzens-Universit\u00e4t all das ausprobieren und wurden dabei bestens von zwei Molekularbiolog:innen unterst\u00fctzt. Wie teuer Laborger\u00e4te sind und warum man in einem Labor auf steriles Arbeiten wert legen muss, faszinierte die Sch\u00fcler:innen. Ein Highlight war sicher das Abschlussexperiment mit fl\u00fcssigem Stickstoff. Die rauchende und dampfende Fl\u00fcssigkeit hat die Augen der Sch\u00fcler:innen zum Staunen gebracht.Am Ende durfte jeder ein kleines D\u00f6schen mit sichtbarer DNA mit nach Hause nehmen, dass sie selbst herausgel\u00f6st hatten.<\/p>\n

Ausfl\u00fcge zur Universit\u00e4t sind eine tolle M\u00f6glichkeit, um den Sch\u00fcler:innen diese Welt n\u00e4her zu bringen. Au\u00dferdem kann der Beruf des Labortechnikers oder der Labortechnikerin, bzw. ein zuk\u00fcnftiges Studium in dieser Richtung von gro\u00dfem Interesse f\u00fcr die vierten Klassen sein, die sich bald f\u00fcr einen weiteren Bildungsweg entscheiden m\u00fcssen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
